Panthers 30 - Broncos 10

Terry and I are huge NFL fans...specifically- the Carolina Panthers. We are looking forward to the playoffs...and hope for a Super Bowl appearance this year.>

The Series: With the 30-10 win, Carolina earned its first-ever victory against Denver, giving the Panthers at least one triumph over every NFL team except two: the Houston Texans and Miami Dolphins. The Broncos lead the all-time series 2-1. After hosting Denver, Carolina has played a regular-season game at home against every NFL team. The Panthers finished the season with a 4-0 mark against AFC West opponents and have an all-time 9-7 record versus AFC West teams.

John Boy's Christmas Party

One thing I really enjoy this time of year is get-togethers with friends to celebrate the season! John Boy (of The Big Show with John Boy & Billy) hosted a Christmas party at his farm in Union County and a great time was had by all. We gathered in early afternoon and enjoyed snacks and college football. Terry loved chatting Jackie about college basketball...mainly because of her 'inside track' with some super players! Jackie's nephews are Stephen Curry of Davidson and Seth Curry of Liberty. She is really proud of them...and rightfully so...what a year they are both having!

While the pig was being prepared, John Boy impressed us with his shooting skills. The fire felt great. Robert D. Raiford thought so to, until he started the melting the soles of his shoes by being too close! The food was delicious. We enjoyed the evening with our friends. A big Thank You to John Boy & Eve for being such wonderful hosts!~CB
