Today is the birthday of the love of my life, Terry Baucom. We have had a great day. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Basin Creek in Elkin, NC. Monday Night Football is on (go Vikings!...oops, New Orleans just scored...) We had birthday cake this evening. Terry has heard from many friends today, including Lou Reid and Jimmy Haley. A large part of Terry's day has included playing his Deering Banjo.
October 6 is also the birthday of these folks with close Bluegrass ties:
Sharon Gilchrist, Ray Deaton, Richard Bennett and Hogan Benson (son of Wayne & Kristin)
