Red White and Bluegrass was Awesome!

I was invited to host the stage at the 2008 Red White and Bluegrass Festival that took place July 1-4.  It was an incredible 4 days of Bluegrass Music in Morganton, NC.  The festival was FREE to the public---presented by the Morganton Recreation and Parks Dept., Gary Leonhardt, Director. Gary's staff and volunteers are to be congratulated on the wonderful event that ran so smoothly.  Talent included: Larry Sparks, The Grascals, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Mountain Heart, Grasstowne, Junior Sisk & Ramblers Choice, JD Crowe & The New South, Cherryholmes, Lost & Found, Bradley Walker and more!  In addition to the great music on stage, it was so nice to get to talk with friends and fans of "Knee-Deep In Bluegrass".  Thanks to everyone who came by the booth to say 'hello'.  It was a treat for Terry to visit with two of this former bandmates from when he was a teenager---L.W.
