North Carolina Banjo Clinic

Terry and I would like to thank Rod Johnston of Village Productions for hosting the North Carolina Banjo Clinic over the weekend in Burnsville, NC. We were pleased to see banjo students from many different parts of North Carolina, as well as, New York, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. Terry, Tom Adams, Graham Sharp and Mike Scott served as instructors. The weekend was topped off with an excellent concert by The Steep Canyon Rangers at the Burnsville Town Center. The Rangers invited Terry and I to do a number with them on stage. We picked the old Bill Monroe song, "Used To Be". It is always great to see the band and enjoy their music. I understand more Banjo Clinics (as well as other instruments) are in the works. It was a truly great experience...meeting new people, visiting with old friends and enjoying one of the state's most beautiful areas.~CB
