Terry: On Tour with Dale Ann Bradley

Today the band is in Texas for the Argyle Bluegrass Festival. In addition to Dale Ann Bradley, today features Tony Rice & Friends, Mountain Heart and The Carolina Chocolate Drops.

In a recent Wall Street Journal article about Bluegrass music, columnist Barry Mazor had this to say about Dale Ann and her latest CD, "Catch Tomorrow."

"Ms. Bradley is a soulful, stunning, full-voiced vocalist, and her winning the Female Vocalist of the Year award for a second year in a row is a clear indication that traditional bluegrass is fending off incursions by those who would make the genre sound more like contemporary country pop. In fact, Dale Ann is more likely to take a pop song (Ann Peebles's "I Can't Stand the Rain" on this CD, for example ) and transform it into hardcore bluegrass.

Dale Ann's current band line-up is:

Terry Baucom, Banjo
Brandon Godman, Fiddle
Tim Laughlin, Mandolin
Roscoe Morgan, Jr., Bass

This will give you a great opportunity to hear Terry's Deering Model Banjo on stage and see it in person. Catch them when they are performing in your area. Schedules for Terry (and me) available on our MySpace page
