Knee-Deep Guests: Tom T. & Dixie Hall

What a pleasure it was for Terry and I to get to visit Fox Hollow at the home of Tom T. Hall and his lovely wife, Miss Dixie. We were greeted at the door by Tom T. who welcomed us. He gave us a tour of the recording studio and the writing room, then we settled in at the kitchen table for some wonderful conversation, which I recorded for Knee-Deep In Bluegrass. The contributions these two folks have made to Bluegrass and Country music could not even begin to be covered in just a two hour show, but we hit the high spots as best we could. And I'll have to say, of all my 25+ years in radio, sitting down with artists for interviews, this was right up at the top for me. A big thank you to the Halls for an evening to remember...and a memorable show for Knee-Deep In Bluegrass listeners, I am sure! ~CB
